Refund policy
At MZ Leather Craft, we take great pride in every single piece we hand-stitch in our atelier. Since our products are handcrafted from natural materials, we have established the following policy to guide you through the return process:
1. The Nature and Character of Genuine Leather
Our products are made from high-quality, natural leather. Please note:
Natural markings, scars, veins, or slight color variations on the surface are not defects; they are the hallmarks of authentic, high-quality leather.
Minimal differences between the product photos and the item you receive are a testament to the handmade process and the unique character of each hide.
2. Return & Exchange Conditions
Return Window: You may return your item within 14 days of delivery. For exchanges, the window is 30 days.
Condition: Leather is a delicate material that takes shape upon its first use. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unbent, with no scratches, and card slots must not be stretched.
Packaging: The item must be returned in its original box, protective sleeve, and with all accessories included, packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
3. Shipping Costs & Process
Domestic Orders (Within Turkey): Returns are free of charge only when shipped via our partner carrier, Sürat Kargo. Please contact us to receive your Return Shipping Code. Returns sent via other carriers or without a code will not be accepted.
International Orders (Outside Turkey): For all international returns and exchanges, shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take clear photos of the exterior packaging before opening it. If possible, ask the courier to note the damage on their delivery device. For any internal damage or manufacturing defects, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. This is necessary for us to initiate a claim with the carrier (FedEx/UPS) and provide you with a swift resolution, such as a repair or replacement.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected (ensuring no signs of use or damage), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
6. Custom and Personalized Orders (Exceptions)
Items that are customized, engraved with initials, or made-to-order based on specific size/color requests are considered "Final Sale." These items are crafted specifically for you and are not eligible for return or exchange.
By confirming your custom order via direct communication, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
